The time has come to demonstrate that productive open private lands are important to the nation, that they are part of our heritage and way of life, that they provide significant benefits that we can ill afford to lose.

Jean  Hocker, former President, Land Trust Alliance

The Elk River Land Trust focus is to educate the public and to selectively acquire land and conservation easements. For us to grow and operate a successful land protection program, we must rely on the financial support of individuals. The long-term effectiveness of the land trust depends on how much money we can raise. Granting foundations want to see community engagement, demonstrated by a broad base of contributing supporters.

Even small donations are very helpful. Please make your tax deductible donation today! Please join us, and help save the North Curry County lands that we love and that our descendants deserve. Thank you.

Planned Giving

A bequest is a wonderful way to create a lasting land legacy. A simple provision in your will that states: "I leave $_________ to Elk River Land Trust, with its principal offices at 41545 Swinging Bridge, Port Orford, OR 97465 " will help ERLT protect conservation lands while decreasing your heirs' estate taxes.
